Tanya has an experience spanning little over a decade specialising in corporate and transactional advisory. She belongs to Delhi and after completing her schooling, she lived in Mumbai for 5 years where she completed her graduation with BLS.LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai. Prior to JusIP, Tanya worked with leading law firms such as Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and Vaish Associates.

She has expertise in structuring, drafting and negotiating of domestic as well as cross-border M&A  transactions, general corporate advisory, corporate filings, drafting vetting and negotiating of commercial contracts, real estate advisory and conducting due diligence. With respect to transactional advisory and commercial contracts, she has been involved in negotiation as well as drafting of agreements such as shareholder’ agreement, security subscription/purchase agreement, business transfer agreement, loan agreements, employment agreements etc.

She has advised an array of Indian as well as foreign clients in relation to corporate and commercial legal services, focusing on transactional and regulatory services; secretarial services and comprehensive business consulting. From Fortune 500 companies to mid-sized ventures and start-ups, she has represented a host of clients engaged in sectors such as FMCG, Banking, E-commerce, Education, Service Industry, Tourism, Real Estate.

She has also represented numerous budding as well as established start-ups in their day to day general legal advisory and in relation to their funding requirements from angel as well as institutional investors.
